Coach Jonathan Gannon has been around the Cardinals team almost every day since the players started donning the helmets in late July.
When the squad is cleaning out their lockers and saying goodbye to one another on days like Monday, the first-year head coach is reminded of why he wanted to be a leader in the first place.
“(If) you’ve been in it long enough, you kind of know the calendar of the NFL season, but honestly, (I’m) a little sad,” Gannon stated. “The players are the main reason I adore my profession. It goes without saying that I appreciate other aspects of my work, which I shall begin today, but you miss seeing and interacting with the players.”
Gannon and his group went on an adventure.
