Brian Daboll, head coach
Opening remarks: It was undoubtedly a difficult and disheartening defeat; we were outmatched from coaching to playing, and I accept that. We have a lot to learn from and improve upon, and that is what we will do. Please give Dallas the credit he deserves. All of their work was just superior than ours tonight.
Q: You guys appeared to be clicking offensively early in the opening drive, but then several things went awry, leading to the blocked field goal. What effect did the sequence of events that resulted in the possession and block field have on your remainder of the evening?
A: I hope that kind of play is not one of yours. Throughout the course of the game, there will be some poor ones. Although 16 points ahead, the team was still in the running, but they were unable to consistently perform well in any one area.

A: So, we started playing one of those games where we had to toss the ball because we were down a lot and they knew we had to. Some of the items require a closer look at the tape. However, evidently, it was insufficient. This evening, every aspect—guarding, coaching, sprinting, and tackling—was lacking. Whatever it was—you name it—it was insufficient.
