“Inter Miami is the last step, and I am ready for this challenge,” says Luis Suárez.
The 37-year-old has had trouble staying in shape lately. Following nearly two decades of competition, Suárez’s knees continue to cause him difficulty, and the Uruguayan has acknowledged that he struggles with persistent knee soreness. Inter Miami will be his last home after spending so much time in the game.

Throughout his European career, Suárez achieved every possible victory. He captured four Copa del Rey championships, five LaLiga titles, and the Champions League in 2015.
Nevertheless, Suárez is still aiming for additional hardware in Miami because previous victories haven’t diminished his ambitions. He concedes that Inter Miami is among the favorites to win the MLS Cup in 2024.
Suárez’s legendary career may have a magnificent conclusion at Inter Miami, but has he given any thought to what comes next? A lot of soccer players dream of coaching one day, and many of them begin their coaching education prior to hanging up their boots.
But Suárez has no intention of pacing the touchline during his retirement: “I don’t want to do it, it’s worse than being a player.” It takes additional time because of the work hours.
