CINCINNATI — The Bengals re-signed offensive tackle Devin Cochran to a one-year extension on Tuesday afternoon.
Cochran spent his rookie campaign (2022) on the practice squad. He was on injured reserve throughout the 2023 season due to a knee injury.
The 25-year-old signed with the Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 2022.
The Cincinnati Bengals are now down to 53 players on their roster as the deadline for roster cuts has passed.
While this is the Bengals’ first iteration of the 53-man roster, it certainly won’t be the last. In a matter of days, the roster will be tweaked accordingly to get the best possible 53 players on the team for Week 1. This may include sending defensive end Joseph Ossai to an injury list and bringing back one player who was cut.
The Bengals began Tuesday with 88 players on the active roster. This doesn’t include Devin Cochran and Devonnsha Maxwell, who were already on season-ending Injured Reserve. Below are the 35 transactions the Bengals made to get down to 53 players. Note: Players are ordered by last name. Players with a single asterisk (*) are 2023 draft picks.
