In Saturday night’s final regular-season game between No. 7 North Carolina and No. 9 Duke at Cameron Indoor Stadium, things got heated multiple times. College basketball fans responded with a plethora of comments on social media. The first half’s six-minute mark was one of the more contentious moments.
Blue Devils center Kyle Filipowski and UNC forward Harrison Ingram got hooked up in a play after Duke recovered a loose ball and started moving the opposite way in transition, sending both players down to the floor.

As Ingram got up first and started running back to play defense, Filipowski—who was still on the ground—seemed to intentionally put out his leg to trip Ingram. After that, Filipowski pretended to be unharmed by the occurrence during the play.

The Tar Heels proceeded to win 84–79 to definitively capture the ACC regular-season championship. The Cameron Crazies tossed drinks at UNC players as they partied in front of the Blue Devils student section. Overall, it was just another thrilling installment in college basketball’s most famous rivalry.
Clearly tripping, really obvious. It was more difficult to determine in real time, particularly while the game was progressing down the court, but wow. The URL is t.co/u0XSTvnny7.
