New York Yankees and Los Angeles Dodgers make an agreement for signing up dodgers player today
The New York Yankees (33-25) will be traveling to the Golden State for a showdown against the Los Angeles Dodgers (35-24) that is slated to begin at 7:10 p.m. on Sunday evening.
New York is entering its third game of the series tied up against Los Angeles. The Yankees lost Game 1, 8-4. Giancarlo Stanton and Josh Donaldson each scored two runs apiece for the team in the loss and the team’s pitcher, Lui Severino, had two strikeouts. Tommy Kahnle and Ryan Weber both managed to tab a strikeout, too.
Then, in Game 2, New York was able to come out with a 6-3 win. Jake Bauers led the way with his two runs while Aaron Judge, Anthony Rizzo, DJ LeMahieu and Oswaldo Cabrera each had one apiece.
Mookie Betts and J.D. Martinez carried the Dodgers during the Game 1 victory with two runs each and Will Smith, Max Muncy, Jason Heyward and Miguel Vargas each scored once, too. Clayton Kershaw had a phenomenal outing on the mound where he collected nine strikeouts against New York.
Heyward, Vargas and Chris Taylor each scored during Saturday’s Game 2 loss against the Yankees.
