Charlotte Hawkins was left gutted at the end of Friday’s Good Morning Britain, when she made the announcement that one of her colleagues was leaving the show.
Charlotte fronted the ITV breakfast programme’s final episode alongside Ben Shephard as they were joined by guests including comedian Adam Hills and weather host Laura Tobin issued an alarming prediction about next week’s soaring temperatures.
Jumping in, Ben explained: “We were just reminiscing this morning, Charlotte and I once did a show where we had a dog in a tea cup, it was so small and Rosaleen said: ‘I think that was my show.'”
He added: “From dogs in a tea cup to the legend that is Adam Hills; what a way to finish.”
Minutes before Charlotte and Ben paid tribute to Rosaleen, he was embroiled in an unlikely spat with studio guest Andi Peters over a t-shirt the ex CBBC star wore on GMB earlier in the week, with their rather fraught exchange ending with Andi challenging Ben to a fight.
