Sad News: Kevin Durant die in a Car Crash minutes ago today……

The NBA trade deadline is now past us and it feels like the world is still trying to make sense of the past week or so. Luka Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers, Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks, De’Aaron Fox to the San Antonio Spurs, Jimmy Butler to the Golden State Warriors and more. It was box office stuff.
Once the Doncic trade went through, it felt like nothing was impossible and we started to see names like Kevin Durant and LeBron James crop up in the trade rumor mill.
While LeBron stayed put in Los Angeles to form one of the most talented duos in NBA history alongside Doncic, there was a lot more talk surrounding Durant heading into the trade deadline.
It looked like the Warriors were interested in bringing back the two-time champion to reunite him with Stephen Curry.
But soon, it emerged that Durant was not interested in a reunion with the Warriors. It has been claimed that he was open to moving to the Heat though.
According to a report from Ramona Shelburne and Brian Windhorst on ESPN, Durant would have been open to playing for the Heat. Miami debated dealing Butler to Phoenix for KD.
