    The University of Connecticut Huskies have earned prestigious accolades in the BIG EAST Conference as part of the end-of-season honors for 2024-2025 basketball season. Recognized for their outstanding performances throughout the season, several players from both the UConn men’s and women’s basketball teams have been named to all-conference teams and received individual awards, highlighting the program’s continued excellence in college basketball.

    The University of Connecticut Huskies have once again demonstrated their dominance in college basketball, earning prestigious accolades in the BIG EAST Conference for the 2024-2025 season. Recognized for their outstanding performances throughout the year, several players from both the UConn men’s and women’s basketball teams received individual honors, marking a continued legacy of excellence for the program.

    On the women’s side, the Huskies were led by standout guard Paige Bueckers, who earned a spot on the All-BIG EAST First Team. Bueckers, known for her scoring ability, leadership, and playmaking, has been instrumental in UConn’s success, making her one of the most dynamic players in the country. Her consistent performances throughout the season helped secure UConn’s position at the top of the conference standings. Alongside her, other key players such as Azzi Fudd and Aaliyah Edwards also received All-BIG EAST honors, showcasing the team’s depth and talent. The Huskies’ strong all-around play and ability to dominate both offensively and defensively were key factors in their success, leading them to multiple conference victories and a top seeding heading into the postseason.

    For the UConn men’s team, standout players like Adama Sanogo and Jordan Hawkins received significant recognition. Sanogo, a dominant force in the paint, was named to the All-BIG EAST First Team for his exceptional scoring and rebounding efforts. Hawkins, known for his three-point shooting and perimeter defense, earned a spot on the All-BIG EAST Second Team. These individual accolades reflect the hard work and commitment of the players, as well as the continued success of the UConn men’s basketball program under the guidance of their coaching staff.
