Former Crystal Palace defender Jarosław Jach has revealed that despite making only a single appearance for the club, he still maintains a connection with the South London side and regularly contacts them when looking for tickets to watch matches.
Jach’s spell at Selhurst Park never developed as many had expected when he arrived from Polish club Zagłębie Lubin in January 2018. At the time, the defender was regarded as one of Poland’s most promising centre-backs and was viewed as a player capable of establishing himself in the Premier League.
However, opportunities proved difficult to come by. Competition for places was fierce, and Jach ultimately found first-team football hard to secure during his time in England.
Despite those challenges, the 32-year-old clearly looks back on his Crystal Palace experience with affection and remains in contact with the club years after his departure.

While his playing contribution at Palace was limited, the relationship he built with the club appears to have endured.
Speaking about his continued connection to the Eagles, Jach admitted that he still reaches out to the club from time to time.
“- W Crystal Palace mój numer mają na pewno, bo co jakiś czas zgłaszam się do nich po bilety na mecze – wyznał Jach.”
The revelation highlights the positive impression Crystal Palace left on the defender, despite his brief spell in South London. It is not uncommon for former players to retain links with clubs they represented, but Jach’s comments suggest there remains a warm relationship between both parties.
Since leaving Palace, the defender has continued his career in Poland, featuring for several clubs while attempting to rebuild momentum after his difficult period in England.
Now 32 years old, Jach has no intention of bringing his playing career to an end anytime soon. The experienced defender remains motivated and is determined to continue competing for several more years.
Discussing his future ambitions, he said:
“- Co dalej ze mną? Chciałbym pozostać minimum na poziomie pierwszej ligi. Celuję w to, żebyście mogli mnie oglądać na boiskach do czterdziestki – dodał.”
Those comments reflect a player who remains passionate about the game and eager to extend his professional career for as long as possible.
Jach’s most recent campaign ended in disappointment after suffering relegation with Znicz Pruszków to the Polish second division. Nevertheless, his determination to continue competing remains unchanged.
Although his time at Crystal Palace may be remembered for the lack of opportunities on the pitch, the club clearly continues to occupy a place in his footballing story. Years after leaving Selhurst Park, the connection remains strong enough for him to pick up the phone whenever he wants to return and watch the Eagles in action.
For a player who featured only once for Palace, that bond has proved remarkably enduring.
