Crystal Palace will be strongly represented on football’s biggest stage this summer after FIFA officially confirmed the squad numbers for the 2026 World Cup in North America.
With the tournament now just days away, Eagles supporters will have plenty of reasons to keep a close eye on proceedings, as a remarkable number of Palace players prepare to feature for their respective nations. The final squad lists have now been submitted, while all participating countries have also revealed the shirt numbers their players will wear throughout the competition.
The confirmation of Palace Academy goalkeeper Owen Goodman in Canada’s final squad completed an impressive list of international representatives connected to the club. Goodman will wear the number 18 shirt for Canada as he prepares for the biggest challenge of his young career.
Defender Chadi Riad has also been handed the number 18 jersey for Morocco, while Daniel Muñoz will wear number 2 for Colombia. Interestingly, the Colombian wing-back is the only Palace player whose international squad number matches the one he regularly wears at club level.
Players from across the globe have already joined up with their national teams and begun preparations through a series of friendly matches ahead of the tournament. Excitement continues to build ahead of the opening fixture, which will see Mexico take on South Africa in eight days’ time.

Spain international Yéremy Pino has received the number 11 shirt, while Norway striker Jørgen Strand Larsen will also wear number 11 for his country.
Jefferson Lerma has been given number 16 for Colombia alongside Muñoz, adding further Palace representation to the South American side.
England’s squad also contains a strong Crystal Palace influence. Dean Henderson has been handed the number 1 shirt and is expected to play a key role for the Three Lions throughout the tournament.
The wider Palace contingent heading to the World Cup includes Tyrick Mitchell wearing number 3, Marc Guéhi taking number 6, Adam Wharton receiving number 20, Eberechi Eze wearing the iconic number 10 shirt and Eddie Nketiah taking number 9.
Johnson has been assigned number 11, while Lerma wears number 8 and Richards number 26 in the additional squad listings released ahead of the competition.
