It’s thought he passed on Saturday after suffering a cardiac arrest in Belgium
Belgium are mourning the death of former footballer Cedric Roussel after his sudden passing on Saturday afternoon.

The 45-year-old suffered a heart attack in Belgium, with local press reporting that it happened when he had been sitting on a terrace at a marketplace in the city of Mons.

Emergency services rushed to the scene but were tragically unable to revive Roussel.
Capped by his country three times in 2003, Roussel played for the likes of Coventry and Wolves while in England, during a long career in the game.

He enjoyed most of his success for Mons in Belgium in two separate spells with the club, firstly in 2003 on loan from Wolves and then between 2007 and 2010 as a permanent signing.
