And they targeted the 24-year-old former Barcelona utility. Oscar Mingueza has been a regular at Celta Vigo since his arrival from Barcelona last year. A graduate of Barcelona’s casual division La Masia, the Spanish defender was a Blaugrana sidekick after graduating from the academy thanks to his ability to play across the back line. But Mingueza’s time at Barcelona ended last year when his contract expired in June 2022. The 24-year-old later joined Celta Vigo and has been a regular for the Galician side ever since. And he has started the 2023/24 campaign well, with one goal and two assists in 14 games so far.
