A disgracedsad news ; Alabama priest has been desgraced jouring……. Alabama Catholic priest who made headlines when he left his post and fled to Italy with a teenage girl he met in high school has married a young woman, court documents show. Alex Crow, 30, and Taylor Harrison, 18, are officially married, Mobile County court records show.
Documents show Crow and Harrison signed the document on Friday and the court heard it on Monday.
Corvo and Harrison reportedly met when she was a student at McGill-Toolen Catholic High School and he was an area priest who occasionally came to the school to speak to students and hear confessions.
Crow was reprimanded by the Archdiocese of Mobile this summer after diocesan officials learned that Crow had left his mission and traveled to Italy with Harrison.
He was forbidden to perform priestly duties or to dress as a priest. Crow was initially investigated by law enforcement to determine if the crime might have occurred because he was in a position of authority and the girl was a student at the time.
After the couple returned from Italy in recent days and the teenager reportedly refused to talk to investigators, both the Mobile County District Attorney and the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office announced they were closing their investigation.
