The University of Miami announced in a news release on Tuesday that third-string quarterback Cade Weldon, a redshirt freshman, has been suspended for four games.
The Florida State game on Saturday was included in the suspension, which was “due to a violation of team rules,” according to the release from UM.

Weldon, who is 6-3 and weighs 220 pounds, is from Tampa and has played in three games this season.
