Former Florida WR transfer to Big 12 program today…

Previous Florida wide recipient Caleb Douglas will play for the Texas Tech Ruddy Pillagers in 2024, agreeing to an declaration he posted on social media Wednesday evening.

Douglas implied at his flight from Gainesville on Nov. 28, three days after the standard season finale against Florida State. A day afterward, reports of looming exchange surfaced, and Douglas made things official when he was permitted to enter the entry on Dec. 4.

A part of Billy Napier’s move (and to begin with) selecting lesson at Florida, Douglas got to be a normal donor for the Gators as a genuine first year recruit in 2022. He begun two of the eight recreations he showed up in, reeling in 10 catches for 175 yards and two touchdowns.

Through five diversions as a sophomore, Douglas included 11 more catches for 133 yards and a landing as Florida’s No. 2 collector. A season-ending damage, endured amid the Kentucky diversion, put him one diversion past the edge for redshirting. He’ll take off Gainesville with two a long time of qualification remaining.

Florida still has Marcus Burke, Kahleil Jackson, Andy Jean, Aidan Mizell and Eugene Wilson III remaining within the position room and anticipates to include three players amid the early marking period, which begins in one week.
