Hurst, 30, was drafted with the No. 25 in general choose within the 2018 draft by the Baltimore Ravens. He played out the ultimate year of a four-year, $11.036 million rookie contract that included a $6.106 million marking reward.
After Hurst went through two seasons with Baltimore, the Ravens exchanged him to Atlanta beside a fourth-round choose in trade for a second-round choose and a fifth-round choose, all within the 2020 draft.
Hurst was set to be an unhindered free specialist in 2022 when he marked a one-year bargain with the Bengals. Carolina marked him to a three-year, $21.75 million bargain back in May.
