    With Week 18 of the NFL schedule starting this weekend, the Detroit Lions suffered a tough loss to defensive lineman Buggs on Tuesday.

    The 27-year-old wrote: “Thank you for everything, Detroit.

    This past year has been great as I’ve met new people and played with great teammates, but it’s time to say goodbye.  . ” “Detroit 96 loss. ”

    The Lions edged out Buggs for the No.  53 spot This week, the  roster underwent significant changes as they placed defensive lineman Alim McNeil on injured reserve.

    Ta.  Read more about the NFL Cornerback C.J.  Gardner-Johnson and edge rusher James Houston are also expected to return from injured reserve.  Detroit has an 11-5 record and will play a home game in the first round of the playoffs.

    As for Buggs, he was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers  in the sixth round of the 2019 draft.

    The Louisiana native appeared in 29 games over three seasons with the Steelers, totaling 31 tackles and one pass defensed.

    Detroit signed Buggs in 2022 and he started  13 games, totaling 46  tackles, one forced fumble, one sack and 10 quarterback hits.

    He signed a two-year, $4. 5 million contract with the Lions this season.  Buggs appeared in 10 games this season, but  played just 40% of the team’s defensive snaps.

    The Alabama product had only his 12 total tackles and did not play in the Lions’ last two games.  Detroit must incur a game check only if the Bugs are not claimed by Wednesday.
