Aleksander Aleksandrovich Barkov announce to leave Florida Panthers tomorrow with the following reasons

Aleksander Barkov has been making waves in the ice hockey world ever since his debut in the SM-liiga with Tappara back in 2011. The young centre quickly made a name for himself, becoming the youngest player in the league to score a point, breaking a 37-year-old record previously held by Juha Jyrkkiö. Barkov’s natural talent and dedication to his craft eventually led him to be drafted second overall by the Florida Panthers in the 2013 NHL Entry Draft.

Despite suffering a season-ending shoulder injury during the 2012-13 season, Barkov’s reputation as an exceptional player continued to grow. He was ranked first overall for international skaters by the NHL Central Scouting Bureau, solidifying his place as a future star in the league. Once he signed his first NHL contract with the Florida Panthers in July 2013, Barkov wasted no time in proving his worth. He became the youngest player in the post-expansion era to score a goal in his debut game, a feat that had not been achieved since 1967.

His recent eight-year, $80 million contract extension with the Panthers is a testament to his exceptional skills and unwavering commitment to his team. Barkov has been nominated for the Selke Trophy two years in a row, demonstrating his ability to excel in all aspects of the game, from offensive plays to defensive maneuvers.

Barkov’s contributions to the Finnish national team have also been significant, with his impressive performance at the 2016 IIHF World Championship earning him a silver medal. Despite suffering a knee injury during the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Barkov has remained a crucial player on both the international and NHL stages.
