Ange Postecoglou, the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, has won the Premier League manager of the month award twice in a row.
Ange Postecoglou became the first coach to win the Premier League accolade in back-to-back months after just two months in the league when he was named manager of the month in September, September 13, and August.
To become the September manager of the month, the Australian manager defeated such elite contenders as Eddie Howe, Mikel Arteta, Unai Emery, and Jurgen Klopp.
In the English Premier League, Postecoglou is undefeated. In the four games Spurs played in September, he recorded three victories and one tie. Tottenham Hotspur led the league going into the October international break thanks to this performance.
The Liverpool squad went on to win the 2019โ2020 season under Jurgen Klopp, the last manager to win the first two Manager of the Month honors in any given season.
Postecoglou is now anticipated to win a big trophy for Spurs this season. Despite taking over a Tottenham club that placed ninth the previous season and losing their top player Harry Kane to Bayern Munich, Postecoglou has adjusted to the Premier League with lightning speed.
As the season comes to an end for the October FIFA international break, Spurs lead their north London rivals, Arsenal, on goal differential and hold the top spot with 20 points from their opening eight games.
