The North Queensland Toyota Cowboys will begin the 2024 NRL campaign with an away clash with Queensland rivals The Dolphins at Suncorp Stadium on Sunday, March 10.

Todd Payten’s men return to North Queensland in Round 2 for their home opener against the Newcastle Knights on Saturday, March 16.

The Cowboys will play just two of their opening seven games at Queensland Country Bank Stadium, but will close the season with six of their last eight games at home.

Arch-rivals Brisbane will visit North Queensland in Round 23, with the blockbuster set for the family-friendly 5.30pm slot.

Other highlights of the home draw include an Anzac Round clash with reigning premiers Penrith, The Dolphins return leg in Round 9, an Indigenous Round battle with the Wests Tigers in Round 12 and a Thursday night showdown with the Storm in Round 26.

Standout away fixtures include a Round 4 Broncos battle at Suncorp Stadium and a maiden visit to the new Allianz Stadium to face the Roosters in Round 13.
The Cowboys NRLW team begin their second season with an away clash with the Sharks on Saturday, July 27.

Ben Jeffries’ team return north for their home opener against the Dragons on Sunday, August 4.

The Cowboys are scheduled to play four games at Queensland Country Bank Stadium in 2024, one more than the inaugural 2023 campaign.

Cowboys fans will again be treated to a NRLW-NRL double header at Queensland Country Bank Stadium in 2024.

On Saturday, August 17 the Cowboys NRLW team will take on the Titans, which will be followed by a Cowboys NRL battle with the Raiders.

“Today’s draw announcements are positive results for both our 2024 NRLW and NRL seasons,” Cowboys CEO Jeff Reibel said.

“To have eight of our 12 NRL home games on Saturdays is terrific for our members and fans who travel from across all reaches of North Queensland.

“We’re also thrilled to be hosting matches for both Anzac and Indigenous Rounds, two fixtures which hold special meaning to our region.

“At NRLW level, hosting an extra game is a just reward for both our players and fanbase.

“The three standalone NRLW home games are a wonderful chance to showcase the growth in the women’s game in North Queensland.”
