The Buffalo Sabres suspended winger Evander Kane for Tuesday’s game against the Ottawa Senators for a violation of team rules, per Mike Harrington of the Buffalo News.
“I’m looking forward to getting back on the ice and helping the team win,” Kane said, per John Vogl of the Buffalo News, who noted Kane will play on Friday against the Columbus Blue Jackets.
“It’s something that never should have happened,” Kane said on Tuesday, per Harrington. “It’s something that I can promise you won’t happen again and it’s something I’m definitely going to learn from.”
