Cleveland Cavaliers reportedly looking for wing help, could trade 2 players to provide upgrade

The Cleveland Cavaliers are looking for wing help on the NBA trade block and could be willing to part with two players.

The Cleveland Cavaliers’ first-round exit in the NBA Playoffs will set into motion an active offseason for the team. It’s already being noted that owner Dan Gilbert is going to be heavily involved in roster construction.

There is certainly a major backdrop to this. Donovan Mitchell can opt out of his contract following the 2024-25 season and hit free agency. It’s led to widespread reports that Mitchell could be traded during the summer.

He joins fellow All-Star guard Darius Garland and big man Jarrett Allen in being on the trade block heading into the summer.

The Cavaliers insider reports that they are going to give major consideration of breaking up the big man duo of Evan Mobley and the aforementioned Allen. The report also indicates that Cleveland could be willing to part with one of Garland or Mitchell to get help out on the wing.
