Charles Woodson asked for help as he lost his father……

MINNEAPOLIS– For the third straight year, Iowa is off to the Big Ten Tournament title game after a dominant 95-68 win over Michigan. Iowa superstar Caitlin Clark put together another masterclass as she scorched the Wolverines in every facet of the game.

Both offenses were on fire to start this one out. After a cold spell on Friday, Clark rattled home two of her first four shots while dishing out three assists. Michigan couldn’t miss from deep as they converted all three of their attempts in the first five minutes, including two by Lauren Jensen.

The Wolverines’ offense wasn’t doing much wrong. They continued to pour it on from deep converting another trio of three-pointers to take a 25-17 advantage. Iowa’s defense doubled inside and couldn’t close out on Michigan’s perimeter shooters in time.

Despite Michigan’s fire from the perimeter, Iowa would manage to execute its offense and keep it manageable. Gabbie Marshall drilled a deep shot to end the first quarter and keep the Hawkeyes within three points.

The Target Center crowd was all-Iowa and the decibel level showcased that. Iowa would begin to string together a 7-0 run in the second quarter to get them on their feet. A Clark three-pointer, behind the back assist and layup in transition helped give them a 33-28 advantage.
