Ben White isn’t involved in the squad today so Takehiro Tomiyasu starts at right-back. Oleksandr Zinchenko is recalled to start at left-back while William Saliba and Gabriel Magalhaes marshal Arsenal’s back four.
Declan Rice lines-up in midfield once again and is joined by Jorginho with Thomas Partey facing another few weeks on the sidelines with a thigh injury. Kai Havertz also starts once again so Fabio Vieira has to settle for a place on the bench.
Bukayo Saka has shrugged off the knock that forced him off against Sevilla in midweek. The England international appeared to hurt his ankle mid-way through the second half but is passed fit to start today, which is a huge boost for Arsenal.
Gabriel Martinelli also keeps his place on the left wing after an electric performance on Wednesday night. Leandro Trossard keeps his place up front after scoring the opener against Sevilla. Eddie Nketiah returns to the squad after recovering from an ankle knock but he’s among the substitutes.
