As the 2018 NFL trade deadline approaches on Tuesday at 4 p.m. ET, Jacksonville Jaguars defensive end Dante Fowler Jr. should be on the radar.
Tom Pelissero of NFL Network said Tuesday afternoon that there is “serious interest” in the third-year pass rusher:
According to Pelissero, the present asking price is exorbitant.
The 24-year-old was drafted third overall in 2015 and has rapidly established himself as one of the top young pass rushers in the NFL. After missing his rookie season due to a ruptured ACL, he made 12 sacks in his first two years on the field, including eight last season. He also had two postseason sacks to help the Jaguars reach the 2018 AFC Championship Game.
