Previous NFL running back Derrick Ward is gazing down the barrel of a long jail sentence after being hit with five crime charges over an affirmed spree of burglaries.
That’s agreeing to TMZ, who claim that on Wednesday prosecutors recorded second-degree theft charges against the one-time Super Bowl winner.
It comes many days after Ward was captured in Los Angeles on doubt of victimizing a number of businesses counting gas stations.
Reports claim that, as of Thursday morning, the 43-year-old remained in police care. His safeguard, it is said, has been set at $250,000.
Ward, who was portion of the Unused York Mammoths group that won Super Bowl XLII in 2008, was captured on Monday lunchtime and booked into guardianship afterward that evening.
