Princely Umanmielen, a former Florida Gator defensive end, was one of the more notable additions to the Rebels’ high-talent roster this offseason. His signing means the Rebels substantially strengthened their defensive line talent, especially with the addition of former Aggie Walter Nolen.

Ole Miss football players are meeting with the media as spring football gets begin. During today’s press conference, Umanmielen made a few remarks that raised some eyebrows.
In case you missed it, Sean Spencer, who currently coaches in College Station, was Florida’s defensive line coach the previous season and therefore the one who oversaw Umanmielen’s position group. According to all accounts, young DC Austin Armstrong’s dysfunctional status on the defensive coaching staff in Gainesville last season was evident in the team’s on-field performance.
