Four Gamecocks Earn All-America Status
In a remarkable display of talent and excellence, four members of the South Carolina Gamecocks women’s basketball team have earned All-America honors for the 2024-2025 season. Junior forward Chloe Kitts and freshman guard Joyce Edwards received honorable mention accolades from both the U.S. Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) and the Associated Press (AP). Senior guard Te-Hina Paopao and sophomore guard MiLaysia Fulwiley also garnered honorable mention honors from the AP.
Historical Significance
This achievement marks the third time in program history and the second occurrence in the last three seasons that four Gamecocks have earned All-America status. Notably, this is the 12th consecutive season in which at least one Gamecock has received an All-America nod, dating back to the 2013-14 season when Tiffany Mitchell and Aleighsa Welch were honored.

Chloe Kitts: A versatile forward known for her scoring and defensive prowess, Kitts has been instrumental in the Gamecocks’ success this season.
Joyce Edwards: In her freshman year, Edwards made an immediate impact, contributing significantly to the team’s performance and earning national recognition. She was among the honorable mention All-Americans listed alphabetically.
