Good news for Philadelphia 76ers he is back……
The Philadelphia 76ers have signed Marcus Bagley.
Marcus Bagley spent his college basketball career playing for Arizona State and went undrafted this past summer.
He is coming off a year where he averaged 12.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 1.5 assists per contest while shooting 31.8% from the field and 33.3% from the three-point range in two games.
Over three seasons playing for the Sun Devils, Bagley appeared in 17 games and averaged 10.9 points, 5.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists per contest while shooting 37.7% from the field and 35.1% from the three-point range.
Coming out of high school, he was ranked by ESPN as the 33rd-best player in the country (and seventh-best small forward).
In addition, Bagley is Marvin’s younger brother, who was a superstar for Duke and the second pick in the 2018 NBA Draft.
Since his deal with the 76ers is an Exhibit 10, Bagley will likely go to training camp with the team.
As for the 76ers, they are coming off a year where they were the third seed in the Eastern Conference with a 54-28 record (Joel Embiid also won the 2023 NBA MVP Award).
They swept the Brooklyn Nets in the first round of the NBA playoffs but lost to the Boston Celtics in the second round (in seven games).
