Penei Sewell ‘fine’ after leaving Detroit Lions practice .

The Detroit Lions avoided another serious hit on the injury front, according to multiple reports.

Right tackle Penei Sewell suffered a foot injury in Wednesday’s final training camp practice, but an MRI came back and revealed he is “fine,” according to ESPN, which classified it Thursday as a rolled ankle.

Running back Craig Reynolds also avoided serious injury, after he left practice with a leg injury.

Sewell left Wednesday’s practice during a scrimmage against the first-team defense. Jared Goff attempted a deep shot down the sideline to Brock Wright that fell incomplete, and Sewell stayed on the ground after the play, holding his foot. He limped off the field and stayed on the bench to watch the offense finish the drive, then slowly walked back to the team facility under his own pow
