Now, Mahomes is undoubtedly a level to achieve currently in the league. The guy can sling it with the best of them and has the hardware to back it up. But when it comes to pure, unfiltered electricity, rarely does anybody bring the talent in like Lamar Jackson. Jones may have had Mahomes at the top of his list, but the hardcore football fans know that Lamar is in a league of his own.
This guy is capable of leaving defenders grasping at air with his lightning-quick cuts and jaw-dropping speed. And let’s not forget about that cannon of an arm – Lamar can let it fly. Now, while Jones may have been spot-on in his assessment of Lamar Jackson as the best in the rushing business right now, his comments about the GOAT quarterback conversation took an interesting turn. In the process, Jones inadvertently overlooked another QB who revolutionized the position – the one and only Michael Vick.
