Lamar Jackson sadly announce leaving us tomorrow for some reasons following by the..
In a league full of jaw-dropping talents at every position, hardly anyone comes near to the exceptional quality of Lamar Jackson. The Baltimore Ravens’ highlight playmaker appeared to reinvent the quarterback position in 2019 and kept on validating that impression. Moreover, he made such an impact that his contemporaries – even those on competing squads – cherish and respect.
Recently, Raiders cornerback Jack Jones made waves when he proclaimed Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes as the “greatest quarterback ever to ever play the game.”
But then he went on to break down his analysis “Quarterback is passing, quarterback is running and quarterback is uh facilitating now when you want to talk about running nobody’s better than Lamar Jackson”. Jones’ impressed look expressed volumes, as Lamar’s 5,258 rushing yards and 29 rushing TDs ardently favor him over even standardized rushing QBs like Michael Vick as the premier running QB.
Now, Mahomes is undoubtedly a level to achieve currently in the league. The guy can sling it with the best of them and has the hardware to back it up. But when it comes to pure, unfiltered electricity, rarely does anybody bring the talent in like Lamar Jackson. Jones may have had Mahomes at the top of his list, but the hardcore football fans know that Lamar is in a league of his own.
This guy is capable of leaving defenders grasping at air with his lightning-quick cuts and jaw-dropping speed. And let’s not forget about that cannon of an arm – Lamar can let it fly. Now, while Jones may have been spot-on in his assessment of Lamar Jackson as the best in the rushing business right now, his comments about the GOAT quarterback conversation took an interesting turn. In the process, Jones inadvertently overlooked another QB who revolutionized the position – the one and only Michael Vick.
