The Dead Daisies have released a new song, “I’m Gonna Ride,” which channels the classic rock sound of AC/DC. This track is the second single from their upcoming album, *Light ‘Em Up*, recorded in Nashville with producer Marti Frederiksen. Founder David Lowy expressed excitement about the new album and highlighted “I’m Gonna Ride” as one of his favorites, calling it a “no-nonsense Daisies style rock track.” He also mentioned looking forward to their upcoming UK and EU tours.
Lead singer John Corabi described “I’m Gonna Ride” as an anthem for the open road, encouraging listeners to leave their worries behind, get on a Harley, and enjoy the ride. The song captures the essence of freedom and adventure, which resonates with rock enthusiasts.
The Dead Daisies, formed by David Lowy, have had a rotating lineup since their inception in 2013. The 2024 lineup features Doug Aldrich (formerly of Dio, Whitesnake, and the Glenn Hughes band), John Corabi (formerly of Mötley Crüe), Michael Devin (also a former member of Whitesnake), and Tommy Clufetos (who has drummed for Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, and Black Sabbath), alongside Lowy. This talented group of musicians brings a wealth of experience and rock credentials to the band, contributing to their dynamic and powerful sound.
The band is excited to share more music from *Light ‘Em Up* and connect with fans through their energetic performances on tour.
