The Dallas Cowboys could reportedly have a shakeup in the wide receiver room this offseason.

According to reports, the Cowboys have given wide receiver Michael Gallup permission to seek a trade.

Gallup, who signed a five-year, $57.5 million deal two years ago, could end up getting released. However, it’s possible that Gallup will find a trade destination.

“Cowboys have given WR Michael Gallup permission to seek a trade a source said. Situation is tough because teams expect Gallup to be released,” Calvin Watkins reported.

Gallup caught 34 passes for 418 yards and two touchdowns in 2023. His best year came in 2019, when he caught 66 passes for 1,107 yards and six touchdowns.

The veteran wide receiver had another strong season in 2020, catching 59 passes for 843 yards and five touchdowns.

Gallup has fallen off production-wise since 2021, when he suffered a season-ending injury.

The Cowboys are coming off a disappointing Wild Card round loss to the Green Bay Packers. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones has said that he wants to go “all-in” for the 2024 season.
