After two disappointing seasons with the Denver Broncos, following a massive trade from the Seattle Seahawks to the Mile High City, veteran quarterback Russell Wilson is on the move once again as he recently signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers to be their new starter under center.
With the Steelers desperate for an upgrade at the quarterback position, the storied franchise pulled out all the stops to make it happen during this NFL offseason, trading Kenny Pickett to the Philadelphia Eagles, signing Wilson, and also trading for Justin Fields.
Needless to say, the Steelers brass are not messing around this year, and Pittsburgh fully intends to be a force to be reckoned with during the 2024 campaign.
As a result of Wilson getting a chance at a fresh start once again, he has already started with the workout videos he’s known for, with the latest showcasing his speed, which many believe he has lost since his best days in Seattle.
Wilson took to Twitter to show what he’s been working on and seems to have back some of that trademark speed.
Although Wilson looks a bit faster and leaner in this video clip, it remains to be seen how he’ll perform on the football field when it comes time to prove himself to the avid Steelers fanbase.
