Sad News: About a minute ago NASCAR driver die in a Car Cr…….

Tonight, NASCAR will induct three more drivers into the Hall of Fame. Carl Edwards, Ricky Rudd, and Ralph Moody will all be immortalized. There will be other awards handed out on the night and of course, a few speeches.
The NASCAR Hall of Fame inducts two drivers from the Modern Era ballot and one from the Pioneer Era ballot each year. As part of tonight’s festivities, Dr. Dean Sicking, the inventor of the SAFER (Steel and Foam Energy Reduction) barrier, will receive the Landmark Award.
If you would like to tune into the Hall of Fame ceremony tonight, you can. Better yet, it’s free. The ceremony will be aired live on the NASCAR Channel on Tubi.
Carl Edwards and Ricky Rudd are both fan-favorite drivers. While they never rose to champion, both came close. They also left their impact on NASCAR during their time in the sport. They were both named to NASCAR’s 75 Greatest Drivers list in 2023 as well.
Ralph Moody, a winning Cup Series driver in his own right, did more to help others win. As a team co-owner and engine builder, Moody and his co-owner John Holman would go on to win 96 races. Some of the best drivers of their time raced in their cars, including Mario Andretti on his way to winning the 1967 Daytona 500.
