Nottingham Forest defender Murillo looked to have suffered a hamstring problem against West Ham United on Sunday afternoon.
The 21-year-old is set for a scan this week, but if he is set for a spell on the sidelines, a debut could be handed to £13m man Andrew Omobamidele
Omobamidele joined Steve Cooper’s side on deadline day from Championship side Norwich City but he’s yet to play for the club in all competitions.
Willy Boly and Moussa Niakhate have been two defenders that have often paired Murillo but the Irishman should be handed his debut after the international break.

Omobamidele deserves debut after the break
The Republic of Ireland international has impressed for his nation, but he’s yet to feature for the Reds despite his plaudits.
Murillo joined the Reds with little experience for Corinthians in Brazil, with the 21-year-old now excelling at the City Ground.
It may be seen as a risk deploying a youngster at the back, but if Murillo is capable without playing in England, Omobamidele is more than up to the task of replacing Murillo during his potential time out.
The former Norwich man is right-footed so could be a perfect partner alongside Niakhate at the centre of the Forest defence.
Future on Omobamidele’s side
Like Murillo, Omobamidele is only 21 years of age, but he does join the club with a decent amount of experience for his age.
The defender has already made 50 appearances in English football, with five coming in the Premier League.
He’s had to bide his time like Murillo, with Omobamidele more than deserving of a chance to show what he’s capable of.
