Oklahoma and Texas will join the SEC no later than 2025. Both are ranked in preseason top-25 polls. So are six other SEC teams. Alabama is a preseason No. 1 pick, and defending national champion Georgia is third.
But the SEC looks even better in the recruiting rankings, especially when you include future members Oklahoma and Texas.
The Longhorns are ranked second in the 247Sports Composite. They have achieved that despite losing seven games in coach Steve Sarkisian’s first season.
