Sports Illustrated Will Be Successful at Chelsea, Says Noni Madueke

The British winger Noni Madueke, who was born in Nigeria, has maintained that despite his present struggles at Chelsea, he is there to succeed.

On January 20, 2023, Noni Madueke began his career at Chelsea after leaving Dutch team PSV Eindhoven for a €35 million transfer fee.

Since then, although playing as a winger, the England youth international has only been able to participate four times across all competitions and has only managed to score one goal.

The 21-year-old Noni Madueke, who is qualified to play for both the Three Lions of England and the Super Eagles of Nigeria, maintains that Chelsea will eventually be the pinnacle of his career.

“I firmly support myself,” Madueke declared to the Evening Standard, a British newspaper. “It will all fall into place eventually.

“I know I can do well; all I need to do is put in a lot of effort and focus on my work.”

In an effort to become a better winger, Noni Madueke has also disclosed that he has been analyzing video highlights of Mohamed Salah of Liverpool and Kylian Mbappe of Paris Saint-Germain.

The young player said that he struggles to score goals with just one touch and that he is aiming to improve that area of his game.

“I look at the best,” he declared. I’m constantly watching Mbappe and Salah because our analyst, James Ryder, clipped them up. They always follow passes into the box, and they always anticipate when a teammate enters the box.

I’m attempting to get better at one aspect of my game: one-touch goals, which are simpler to accomplish. I have to admit that I move quickly, so occasionally I have to gather myself, take a deep breath, and put something away. To be able to complete it when I return to Chelsea, I only need to keep working.
