    Recent reports indicate that the Indiana Pacers made a surprising move by signing a pair of twins, Amen and Ausar Thompson, who are notable for being the first brothers drafted in the top five in the same year (2023) and are considered promising talents in the NBA 2025 season (NBA.com). This signing has been seen as a shock to the NBA community, especially given the Pacers’ strategic moves this , including trading their first-round pick and acquiring additional draft assets (Yahoo Sports).     Eleven international players from six countries were selected in the second round of the 2025 NBA Draft presented by State Farm.  A total of 23 international players from 15 countries were selected in the 2025 NBA Draft, the second-most international players selected in a single draft (27 in 2016).
