Beginning around 1985, Alison Taylor’s grinning face has welcomed huge number of bar participants and Luton Town fans at the Bricklayers Arms in High Town. Presently, 38 years on, she has chosen to resign.

Alison and the ‘Brickies’ have been a staple for Luton Town fans for almost 40 years, having been the origination of the club’s allies trust back in 2003. High Town councilor James Taylor said: ” The best bar in Luton is losing the best landlord in the country. The choice has been hard for Alison, particularly given the affectionate feel to the bar. She made sense of: ” We resemble a local area bar, I’m getting personal now when I discuss it.
