- Crystal Palace now know exactly how their Premier League campaign will unfold, with the full 2026/27 fixture list released this morning. There is no shortage of intrigue in it either, with new boss Pierre Sage handed a baptism of fire away to Everton on the opening weekend.
The trip to the Hill Dickinson Stadium kicks things off on Saturday, 22nd August, with a 15:00 BST start confirmed. It will be Sage’s first competitive game in the Palace dugout, and few would call it a gentle introduction.
He won’t have long to dwell on it either. Manchester City make the journey to Selhurst Park just seven days later, on Saturday, 29th August, handing the Frenchman his home bow against the champions. A trip across London to face Fulham at Craven Cottage follows on Saturday, 5th September, rounding off a brutal opening month.
There is some respite on the horizon, with a two-week international break running from Monday, 21st September through to Thursday, 8th October, before domestic football resumes on the weekend of 10th/11th October. Palace return to action with Nottingham Forest’s visit to Selhurst Park, before making the trip to the Amex to face Brighton on Saturday, 17th October.
A further international window arrives on the weekend of 14th/15th November, with another scheduled for March as is now customary.
Festive football brings its usual significance, and this year is no different. Arsenal make the trip to Selhurst Park for the traditional Boxing Day fixture, before Bournemouth round off 2026 with a visit on Wednesday, 30th December. The Premier League has confirmed that no two match rounds will fall within 60 hours of each other over the Christmas and New Year period, addressing long-standing complaints from clubs about fixture congestion during the busiest stretch of the calendar.
The reverse fixture against Brighton has been pencilled in for Saturday, 15th May, while Palace’s season comes to a close on Sunday, 30th May, 2027, with Leeds United the visitors to Selhurst Park. As is now standard practice, every final-day fixture across the league will kick off simultaneously at 16:00 BST and be shown live on UK television.
In total, the campaign features 33 match weekends alongside five separate midweek slots, including a notable trip to face Chelsea on Wednesday, 6th January, and a midweek clash at Arsenal on Wednesday, 3rd March.
There is plenty for Palace supporters to circle on the calendar. Manchester United visit in late April, while the run-in sees games against Aston Villa, Nottingham Forest and Newcastle before that final-day appointment with Leeds.
For Sage, it is a fixture list that offers little time to settle. The early weeks will test him immediately, but how Palace navigate that opening run could go a long way to defining how the rest of the season unfolds.
