Boca Juniors Pursue Triple Transfer Move as Talks Continue for Key Reinforcements
Boca Juniors are actively working on three separate transfer negotiations as the Argentine giants look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
The club are currently engaged in discussions over Jhohan Romaña, Leandro Lozano and Sebastián Villa, with each deal at a different stage of progress.
One of the most complex negotiations involves Jhohan Romaña, who has been identified as a priority target by former Boca manager Vasco Arruabarrena.

Boca have already submitted an offer believed to be in the region of USD 3 million for the defender. However, talks remain ongoing and are currently being handled exclusively with the player’s representatives rather than the selling club.
While negotiations are still active, sources close to the situation suggest the move remains difficult at this stage, with the deal not yet close to completion. Despite that, Boca have not withdrawn their interest and continue to monitor developments closely.
The second target, Leandro Lozano, appears to be much closer to joining the club.
In this case, Boca have already reached a contractual agreement with the Uruguayan player, with only the final details with Argentinos Juniors remaining unresolved. An agreement between the two clubs is said to be approximately 90 per cent complete.

The expected transfer fee for Lozano is believed to be around USD 3.5 million, and there is growing confidence within the club that the deal could be finalised without major complications in the coming days. His arrival would provide Boca with additional depth and versatility, something the coaching staff have been keen to address.
The third and most high-profile situation surrounds Sebastián Villa, whose potential return to Boca has generated significant attention.
Boca have already submitted an offer of around USD 6 million for the forward, but that bid has reportedly been rejected by Independiente Rivadavia, who have deemed it insufficient.
Despite the setback, Boca are unwilling to increase their offer at this stage, maintaining their valuation of the player. Villa, meanwhile, is said to be pushing for a return and has urged his current club to facilitate a move.
