The Liverpool striker’s father has been missing since Saturday night, when he was kidnapped from a gas station in Colombia with his rescued wife Luis Diaz has opened up about his father’s kidnapping and has took to Instagram to announce a vigil for Luis Manuel Diaz on Tuesday.

” Latest reports from the Red Devils star’s homeland claim that Colombian authorities have searched the cloud forest in an attempt to find Luis Manuel Diaz.
Both of Diaz’s parents were arrested near their home in Barrancas when they stopped to gas up their car Saturday night on the way to a friend’s house.
His mother, Cilenis Marulanda, has been rescued and is safe.
That being said, Colombia’s elite jungle commandos have now been drafted in to support the operation to bring his father back safely.
The area they are focusing on is believed to be the Perija Mountains, fearing his captors may try to take him across the Colombia-Venezuela border.
Liverpool ace Diaz has been on Merseyside for much of this chilling saga and has received public support from a number of key figures at the club.
Tuesday afternoon, Red Devils assistant coach Pep Lijnders told the media: “We are trying to support him as much as possible – a lot of things are out of our control.
