bad report : Kentucky 3 players who need to step up in week 13..
Kentucky football fell 17-14 after losing to South Carolina in Columbia. After a poor performance against Alabama, they went and did the same against South Carolina.
The Cats now prepare for an away rivalry game against #10 Louisville. Louisville had a great year under first-year head coach Jeff Brohm. Their only loss of the season came against Pittsburgh in mid-October. They were good in every other game during their 10-game winning streak. The Cardinals play in the ACC Championship against Florida State in two weeks, while Kentucky has won just one of its last six games.
Jawhar Jordan and Jamari Thrash have been very good for the Cardinals this season. They bring a very different set of challenges that the Cats have not faced this season. The questions for Kentucky football this weekend are:
Can the Wildcats stop Louisville’s rushing attack? Can Kentucky start the rushing game? This game will be won in the dugout, as it has been in recent years. Therefore, it is important that these questions are answered.
I’m just saying this about this crack. Davis must catch the ball more than twelve times in a game. Davis is that good and should be treated as a star running back. However, Davis should have a better game and put up over 1,000 yards this week. Weaver has the potential to be the best player on the defense and the others have been very good this season.
This could be the game where he turns out to be the best. Deone Walker and Trevin Wallace have been the best in the UK and Weaver is in for a big game. Leary has not been at his best this season and I’m sure he would be the first to say so.
This could be a good way to restore the fan base’s faith in him. He knows how important this game is to Kentucky football, so let’s hope he can perform at a high level. Kentucky will play No. 10 Louisville to close out the season. The Cats are 6-5 and 6-6 if they end the season with a loss. Because of the talent on this team, this is not a 6-6 team. One has to wonder if they will lose this game.
