Bryce Harper Receive $10.5 million boost as result of star player transfer leaving Philadelphia Phillies today

Bryce Harper Receive $10.5 million boost as result of star player transfer leaving Philadelphia Phillies today…

All you need to know about when Bryce Harper will make his much-awaited return in the upcoming 2023 MLB season.

At the beginning of this month, the Phillies an announcement that raises the prospect of a quickened schedule. They didn’t place him on the 60-day injury list which has made fans excited about Harper’s return earlier in the season.Bryce Harper, an All-Star slugger for the Philadelphia Phillies, underwent Tommy John surgery in November of last year, after the team had finished its journey to the World Series. Since then, Harper has been making his way back from the operation. Around the time of the All-Star break in the middle of July, it was anticipated that Harper would be ready to make his comeback to the Phillies lineup as the designated hitter.

In spite of the fact that placing Harper on the 60-day injured list would keep him out of action for approximately the first two months of the regular season, doing so would provide room for another player on the 40-man roster. Hence, there is a significant incentive for the Phillies to place him on the 60-day injured list if they are positive that he will not be game-ready by the end of the month of May. On the other hand, it is not what they have done.

Harper is, without a doubt, an important component to the contending Phillies’ roster. After suffering an elbow injury on April 16, Harper did not play in a game at a defensive position again until June 2, when he was followed by a broken thumb that sidelined him for two months. In spite of this, the two-time National League Most Valuable Player and seven-time All-Star hit.286/.364/.514 (145 OPS+) with 18 home runs over the course of 99 games
