Eldora Speedway Begins Groundbreaking Construction on Permanent Grandstand and VIP Suite with Over 100,000 Seating Capacity: A Historic Project in the Making
ROSSBURG, OH – Eldora Speedway, one of the most iconic dirt tracks in the world, has officially begun construction on a groundbreaking new permanent grandstand and VIP suite expansion. This ambitious project will transform the facility into a world-class racing venue with a seating capacity exceeding 100,000, making it one of the largest in motorsports history.
The legendary half-mile dirt track, founded by Earl Baltes in 1954, has hosted some of the biggest dirt racing events, including the World 100, Dirt Late Model Dream, and Kings Royal. With this major investment, Eldora aims to enhance the fan experience while maintaining its deep-rooted tradition in dirt racing.
The new state-of-the-art grandstand will replace the existing aluminum seating with modern, weather-resistant structures, providing improved sightlines, comfort, and accessibility. Additionally, an expansive VIP suite complex will be built, featuring luxury seating, climate control, and exclusive hospitality areas for corporate guests and racing enthusiasts.
