Lawrence Taylor give somany reasons why he will leave Giants today
EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. — The New York Goliaths expect Daniel Jones will get back to being their beginning quarterback once he wraps up restoring his carefully fixed right knee.
Senior supervisor Joe Schoen wouldn’t put a schedule on Jones’ recuperation from upper leg tendon medical procedure last week, yet he noted Monday the 26-year-old was in the group office, beginning his recovery only five days subsequent to having the medical procedure.
Schoen said that with Tyrod Taylor’s contract expiring, the Giants will have to choose between taking a quarterback in the draft in spring of next year or signing a free agent. Tommy DeVito, the current starter but an undrafted rookie free agent, is also under contract.
“He’s in there rehabbing at present. Schoen said of Jones in his first press conference since training camp: “He’s going to attack it.” You are all familiar with Daniel’s work ethic; most likely a person we must draw back. In any case, the assumption is the point at which Daniel’s sound that he will be our beginning quarterback.”
Due to the fact that the Giants have not discussed the injury other than to state that it is an ACL injury, it is difficult to estimate how long Jones’ rehabilitation will take. Early in the 2020 season, running back Saquon Barkley tore an ACL. He also injured other ligaments, and he didn’t get back to his best until 2022, even though he played in 2021.

The Monsters have a significant interest in Jones, who was harmed in the primary half against Las Vegas on Nov. 5. In the spring of this year, Schoen agreed to a $160 million, four-year deal with him.
After this season, Taylor, who will be a free agent, started three games when Jones was hurt in the neck.
The 34-year-old Taylor harmed ribs against the Planes, and Jones returned for the Thieves, just to be harmed once more.
DeVito, a rookie free agent who was not selected, has started the last three games and helped New York (4-8) win two of them.
Jones played a significant role in the Giants’ 9-7-1 record that brought New York back to the postseason for the first time since 2016. This season, the Duke graduate performed poorly, completing 108 of 160 attempts for 909 yards, two touchdowns, and six interceptions. He also got sacked 30 times while he was behind an injured offensive line.
