The manager has called on the 3,000 travelling supporters to continue their “brilliant support” and stay together because, if not, he has warned “the wheels can easily come off”.
Speaking in his pre-match press conference, Robins was quick to praise the Coventry support, and also offered a solution for how his team can turn things around on the pitch.
The Sky Blues will be looking to put that plan into action at Deepdale on Saturday.
“It’s fantastic,” Robins said of the travelling support.
“They never cease to surprise me, but always surprise me in a sense.
“They’re absolutely incredible.
Three thousand people going up to watch a game is fantastic, and they’ve been brilliant and continue to be so.
“We need them.
We need everybody to stay together, because the wheels can easily come off.
If this begins to change, the wheel can easily fall off.
“But my job is to make sure it goes in the right direction and we can give them something they’re happy with.
