The Green Bay Packers are welcoming back featured alumni Desmond Bishop and Ruvell Martin for the Packers-Chiefs game on Sunday, Dec. 3.

Leading up to the game, the alumni will be signing autographs and visiting with fans at the Lambeau Field Atrium on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 11 a.m. to noon.

Martin will be visiting with fans and signing autographs at surprise locations around Lambeau Field on gameday from 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. Bishop will be visiting with fans and signing autographs during that same time in the Legends Club on the Associated Bank Club Level, an area accessible to game attendees with suite or club seat tickets.

Ruvell Martin came to the Packers as a free agent in 2005. The wide receiver spent three seasons with the Packers (2006-08), recording 52 receptions for 749 yards. Martin first entered the league as an undrafted free agent out of Saginaw Valley State in 2004. He was signed by the San Diego Chargers and was allocated in 2005 to NFL Europe, where he helped the Amsterdam Admirals win the World Bowl after leading the league in receiving yards and receiving TDs. During the rest of his playing career, he also spent time with St. Louis, Seattle and Buffalo. From 2020-21, he served as a coaching assistant for the Packers through the team’s minority coaching fellowship program for young and aspiring minority coaches.

Desmond Bishop was selected by the Green Bay Packers in the sixth round of the 2007 NFL Draft out of the University of California. He played in 69 games with 26 starts during his six seasons (2007-11) in Green Bay. A core member of the Packers’ special teams in his first three seasons, Bishop led the team with a career-high 22 tackles on special teams in 2009. The linebacker moved into a starting role in 2010, and he was named a Pro Bowl alternate in 2011 after posting career-bests with a team-leading 142 tackles (109 solo) and five sacks. Following his time with the Packers, he spent one season in Minnesota and one in San Francisco.
